Welcome to the Gratis Project. Our mission is to help those who want to help others. This site is setup to provide a new way of giving to those in need. We often want to help those less fortunate than ourselves, but are concerned when it comes to the organization we choose to manage our donations for us. We plan to take the guess work out of donating to a worthy cause by eliminating the middle-man and allow you the opportunity to know where and who your donations go to. To help you understand our goal and process; here are a few questions and answers that might help.
Question: How does this thing work?
Answer: You make a donation; you then cast a vote to elect who the weekly donations go to.
Question: Do I have to be a member of the site to make a donation?
Answer: No. Anyone can make a donation for any amount at any time. You only need to be a member to vote on who gets the donations.
Question: How do I vote?
Answer: You will need to join the project to cast a vote. Joining is free. Once you are a member, you can vote for as many recipients as you like by reading and voting on their ads. You may only vote on each ad once within a week until the candidates receive their donations.
Question: How many people are helped each week?
Answer: There will be (10) each week. The votes will be finalized on Sunday night at midnight.
Question: How do we know who received help?
Answer: The top ten (10) ads will show on the main page and also the ADS page. As you vote; candidates will move up to, stay in or fall from the top 10. At the end of the week the 10 highest voted ads will share the total donations equally.
Question: Is there a limit to how much money the recipients get each week?
Answer: The only limit to the money available for the week is based on donations received. We have No cap on the Payout.
Question: How does the GratisProject.com make money?
Answer: All of our administrative fees are covered by paid advertisement on the site. We DO NOT use any amount of the donations given to support the site. 100% of the proceeds go directly to who you voted for.
Question: Can anyone place an ad?
Answer: Yes. If you are in need, please place an ad. It will be voted on by your peers and if selected, you will receive your portion of the weekly donations.

Answer: Its Gods will. Remember… You decide who the money goes to, not us.
